2G Core Network Field Maintenance Engineer - Saudi Arabia

2G Core Network Field Maintenance Engineer's required who must have 6-8 years of experience matching the job requirements.

 

Position: 2G Core Network Field Maintenance Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia

Contract Duration: 6 months Extendable

Equipment Exp: Ericsson

 

Job Description:

 

Ø       Support and repair with out delay to minimize disruption to the STC network.

Ø       Perform routine Maintenance duties.

Ø       Make regular test calls. Check the RTTS system.

Ø       Prepare new local procedures for new equipment when required.

Ø       Help and advise local staff to carry out repair procedures as the Alex B modules.

Ø       Trouble shoots the CP, RP, APG40 all kind of faults with different revision of HW for example AXE10, AXE810, APZ21230, 33, 40, 50. 

Ø       Helping transmission faults from ET155-7, ET155-1, E-1 STM, ODF, DDF, ADM etc.

Ø       Emergency Handling, stoppage of the system, ECF (Exchange complete failure).

Ø       Trouble shooting MSC, BSC, HLR, STG, SCP all nodes.

Ø       Participate in technical discussions with the customer in order to gather product-related information.

Ø       Ensure installations meet the Ericsson Standards and all documents are available to STC, floor plans, labeling, C modules, and B modules are delivered.

Ø       Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies keep up-to-date with changes.

Ø       Help the customer to get more knowledge about Ericsson's products by holding seminars and presentations of new or enhanced products and functionality.

Ø       Ability to use the following tools:  TEMS Investigation, PMR, RTTS, WINFIOL, Microsoft office and XP, Alex.

 

Qualification (formal education needed):

 

BE Engineer, The Core network field engineer should have minimum experience with a computing or electronics with Electrical/Electronics or Telecom Engineer degree level.

Have axe advanced level training in operation and maintenance.

 

Salary: USD 4300 per month plus 550 for accommodation and transportation + Benefits
