supporting services for International telecommunication vendors is
looking for Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support its
projects.
Responsibilities:
* Check Installation according to site binder
* Arrange material request from the Warehouse for Installation,
Coordinate with Vendor and supervision during Installation
* Handle Transmission, Commissioning and Integration
* To arrange ATP Installation and Hand Over to Client
* Coordinator for C-Module completion
* Trouble Shooting
* Controller Installation
* Cross Connect and Cut over/ Swap
* Quality installation Auditor
Qualifications:
* Male, age maximum 35 years old
* Minimum holder of Diploma (D3) in Telecommunication Engineering
or other Degree with 3 years experience in Telco
* Willing to work for out of town assignment and on holiday
* Team player with strong work ethics & high integrity, a hard
worker and achievement oriented, dynamic, strong motivation,
discipline & dedication, detail–oriented and could work under minimum
supervision able to work under pressure
* Able to take on additional assignment on short notice
* Having a basic knowledge about Health & Safety requirements

Position: 2G/3G Senior RF Optimisation and Planning Engineer
Location: Turkey

Job Specification:
This position is for Senior RNP and RNO ( Radio Network Planning and
Optimization) Engineer. It requires detailed knowledge and experience
on designing and optimizing UMTS and GSM networks, at least 8 years of
GSM Design/Optimzation and 2 years of UMTS Design/Optimization. The
upcoming projects will involve both 3G/UMTS roll-out, initial KPI
optimization and 2G extensions/swaps and achieving original 2G KPI
targets in swapped areas. The position is a team leading position, and
the successful candidates will be assigned as regional RNP/RNO Manager
in one of the major cities in Turkey , currently unknown. The
successful candidate must also have skills to function as a trainer to
educate local engineers
Successful candidate MUST have strong technical expertise and solid
hands-on experience on the following fields:
1. 2G/3G RADIO NETWORK DESIGN: Strong knowledge on Link Budget
Calculation especially for 3G networks, for losses and gains specific
to UMTS. Previous hands-on experience on new aggressive roll-out
and/or overlay projects, preparing new nominal plans and/or choosing
best existing 2G sites for 3G overlay
2. GSM/UMTS PERFORMANCE TUNING: Solid knowledge on GSM/UMTS
specifications and BSS/NodeB parameters. He/She must have worked on
the implementations of different vendor specific BTS/BSC/NodeB/RNC
features, eg: Cell Load Sharing, Intelligent UL/OL, HCS, AMR. Ability
to achieve original KPI targets in an aggressive GSM swaps, to create
parameter/KPI mappings between Huawei and other vendors. Previous
hands-on experience on UMTS optimization and performance tuning. Must
be able to achieve customer's cell/cluster/RNC level KPI targets
within a tight schedule before site acceptance.
3. ANTENNA CONFIGURATION OPTIMIZATION: Strong knowledge of antenna and
RF propagation, being able to optimize site configuration,
optimization of dominancy areas and overshooting cells.
4. POST-PROCESSING: Ability to post-process and analyze various DT
logs, proficiency on using major post-processing tools such as Actix,
TEMS, Clarify DT Scanner, Agilent etc both for 2G and 3G. Ability to
use scanner test logs in order to identify and optimize poor
dominancy areas and overshooting cells
5. OSS TOOLS: Experience on OSS tools like Ericsson RNO, Nokia NetAct
platform on getting reports similar to MRR, NCS, FOX, Cell Doctor on
Huawei implementations
6. FREQUENCY PLANNING Experience on frequency planning and on using
AFP tools like CellOpt, Schema.
7. AUTOMATIC CELL PLANNING: Experience on ACP tools like Radioplan, Optimi
8. TRAFFIC DIMENSIONING: Strong knowledge on 3G traffic calculation
and dimensioning, ability to use Monte-Carlo similators.
9. PROFICIENCY ON RNP TOOL and MONTE-CARLO SIMULATORS: "real"
expertise on using one or more of the industry standard RNP Tools,
preferably Atoll and/or Asset 3G and/or Planet EV. Successful
candidate must be able use these tools with their full functionality.
10. ABILITY TO ACT AS A TRAINER: This is of utmost importance.
Successful candidate must act as a professional trainer as well.
That's why, perfect communication skills, flawless English language
skills are mandatory. The candidate must be good at passing his
experience and knowledge to fresh engineers. There will be frequent
internal training sessions.
11. MANAGEMENT SKILLS: The successful candidate will be in the full
charge of leading a regional RF Team comprised of permanent Huawei
engineers and local subcontractor engineers. He would manage the
roll-out of 2G/3G project of several cities in one region. Previous
management experience is a must.
12. WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL FERQUENTLY: This position may require
frequent short term travels from the home base. Relocation may also be
possible from time to time.
