• Familiar with project business processes, typical engineering scenarios and project quality standards and quality assurance methods;
• Willing to travel within Indonesia regions
• Familiar with flow NOKIA Project

Description

As Service Engineer Radio Tuning & Optim you will responsible to : Perform RF tuning & optimization  and other RF related service  activities for high capacity wireless networks using GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE technologies; familiar with link budgets, RF propagation from cellular antennas, parameters and Radio features of at least one of the following technologies: GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE; work independently in performing optimization activities; provide training and guidance to less experience persons in the area of expertise; utilize engineering tools such as cell planning tools, drive test data collection and post processing tools, and network performance statistics monitoring and analysis tools; good knowledge of Ericsson product and service portfolio, and competitive offerings; support the preparation of Requests for Proposals if requested.

Qualifications

 Technical and/or functional skills:

ü       Manage network trials and performance data to identify coverage, capacity and interference problems

ü       Identification and analysis of key issues on the network in order to achieve QoS targets for 2G/3G/LTE

ü       Ensuring first-class support is given to the resolution of customer problems

ü       Strong understanding of 3G/2G/LTE

ü       Strong understanding of EDGE//HSPA/LTE concepts.

ü       A comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints for 2G/3G/LTE

ü       Ability to collect and analyze data from the 2G/3G/LTE networks to resolve problems and make recommendations for improving QoS

ü       Ability to analyze air interface signalling to help resolve problems and make recommendations for improving QoS

ü       Ability to develop original processes and procedures

ü       Ability to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems

ü       Drive recommendations for changes to the physical and parametric configuration of cells

ü       Basic knowledge in RF planning

ü       Counter analysis and understanding

ü       Good knowledge on 2G/3G/LTE Radio parameters and timers

ü       Working knowledge of MapInfo or other GIS tools

ü       Data throughput optimization for 2G/3G/LTE.

ü       Good knowledge on Neighbor relations and analysis

ü       Good knowledge in BSS/RNC/MME parameters

ü       Parameter audit and report preparation

ü       Analysis of drive test data and recommendation

ü       Good working knowledge in MS Excel and MS Access

ü       Performance and root cause analysis of the air interface

ü       LTE/3G/2G network environment and radio knowledge

ü       Exposure to tools like TEMS, ACTIX, BO, etc

ü       Improve cells on following KPIs: RRC attempts, RRC Failures, CS/PS RAB attempts, CS/PS RAB failures, DCR, CSTR, SHO attempts/failures, HS attempts, HS retain-ability failure rate, HS accessibility failure rate.

Human Competence

ü       Track record as a Service Engineer in the area of Radio Tuning and Optimization technology and/or operations.

ü       Be a team player and strong interpersonal skill 

ü       Ability to work under pressure.

Education Background and Experience:

ü       Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering, MIS or related field.

ü       Having significant relevant experience and three (3) years of progressive experience tuning and optimizing high-capacity wireless GSM, LTE, or UMTS networks using RF engineering technology.
