Long Description :

Engineer I

Basic Function :

Provide geotechnical recommendation and/or services to the PTFI U/G Mines by directing the design, support and monitoring of geotechnical aspects of U/G Mine facilities and operations to ensure safe and efficient operation of U/G Mines.

Job Responsibility :

1. Analyze ground condition and design for appropriate support or repair for new or old U/G mine facilities for all U/G areas (including provide warning of unsafe conditions).

2. Analyze ground movement and damage progress to provide appropriate action plans, in order to ensure safety of the miners and also to achieve production target.

3. Monitor cave progression by surface subsidence, TDR instruments and cave inspection. Provide warning of impending impacts to critical mine facilities, such as ventilation raises, ore passes and other production facilities.

4. Monitor drift and area workings stability, particularly for complex and high risk areas, using geotechnical devices to ensure safe and efficient operation of U/G Mines.

5. Plan drilling for TDR and coordinate with other sections for setting the rig.

6. Monitor of the ore passes system, which transports ore from mine to mill, is conducted routinely and analyzed to detect impending failures. Recommend re-support or repair of ore passes as required.

7. Act as wet muck engineer as required to conduct of routine monitoring and monthly meeting of wet muck hazards in U/G mine & reporting requirements of Indonesia Department of Mines and Energy (DOME).

8. Develop skills of subordinates following plans.

9. Meet the PTFI Safety and Environmental Programs and standards.


° Graduate in Geological, Mining or Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience.

Signaling & Telecomunication Engineer

We are looking for the best candidate to fill our vacant position Signaling & Telecomunication Engineer. with the below qualifications :
  1. The Candidate must have the ability:
  2. Define performance criteria of Signaling & Telecommunication system which meet to the optimum operational plan.
  3. Develop technical specifications document for Signaling & Telecommunication system according to operation plan refer to international standard and regulations from Indonesia Transportation Minister
  4. Review of technical specifications of Signaling & Telecommunication system which propose by vendor related to the owner specification, standard and regulation.
  5. Consideration of operational requirements in design, installation and commissioning stages. 
  6. Provide check list and conduct monitoring of quality and progress of Signaling & Telecommunication system during installation stage.
  7. Perform Interfacing between Rolling Stock, Power, Rail Signaling, Track and Civil Work during design and implementation stage.
  8. Provide information regarding train running simulation according to the signaling and interlocking system which implemented.
  9. Review manual operation, manual maintenance and maintenance schedule which proposed by vendor.
  1. At least Five years experience at Design stage of Signaling & Telecommunication system.
  2. At least Five years experience at Production stage of Signaling & Telecommunication system
  1. Minimum S1, Electrical Engineering
  2. Signaling & Telecommunication system expertise certificate

Senior Engineer: UMTS/HSPA/LTE Network Optimization

Location : Indonesia

Job description

This engineering position provides an opportunity to work closely with leading wireless operators, device and network vendors and R&D Teams across the globe on cutting-edge wireless technologies such as UMTS/HSPA/LTE(and LTE-A in future). Responsibilities would include various aspects associated with the design, optimization, capacity estimation and management, debugging of air-interface and core-network issues of UMTS/HSPA/LTE networks. Additional areas of responsibility could include wireless system parameter recommendations, participating in new technology inter-operability tests and field trials in conjunction with R&D teams, lab performance studies, authoring white-papers and documents on new wireless technologies and standards. The candidate should have an academic background in digital communications, wireless and computer communication networks. The successful candidate should have the ability to understand detailed technical design; implementation and issues related to UMTS/HSPA/LTE technologies and have RF & Network optimization Industry experience. The candidate should be able to provide onsite support to mobile operators worldwide to help roll out and enhance their UMTS/HSPA/LTE networks. Position requires significant customer interaction and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams. 50% Travel Required.
