RF Engineer III is responsible for conducting highly complex network system
administration and design engineering activities to maximize network
connectivity and capacity. Performs engineering functions related to
interconnect equipment and facilities, signaling systems, switches and
traffic. Responsibilities may include: performing cost justification
studies; planning, ordering and deploying network components; forecasting
network/equipment needs and recommending appropriate configurations;
resolving complex maintenance problems; monitoring traffic flows to ensure
call delivery optimization; and providing technical leadership and expertise
to less experienced engineers.
this position is listed as an RF Engineer, but it is NOT a true RF position.
1. Candidates presented so far are heavy RF Engineers and that is not what
we are looking for.
2. We prefer candidates that are hard core developers that have programming
experience.
3. We are requesting tools development and Excel/report expertise. Anyone
with Q-Chat report experience is an exact. This person will be running
queries in Q-Chat.
Location: Sprint Headquarters 6300 Sprint Parkway Overland Park KS 66251
Preferred: RF Engineer with Data mining experience in both 1xEv-DO and iDEN
to assist in combing the available data sets to provide proactive analysis
of Q-Chat over 1xEv-DO RevA.
Required: The skill sets required are data manipulation skills, excel and
access expert skills, ability to run queries and do simple cross-correlation
studies. We require someone with an Engineering degree or Computer Science
Degree that can perform these skills.
