Description
JOB PURPOSE :
To deliver transport network design services within area of expertise (2G or 3G).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES :
The general tasks of the Transport Network design are:
- Perform Network Design activities such as: network topology design, node and link dimensioning, network impact studies, field survey and site selection support, DCN & NMS design
- Provide technical guidelines and suggestions to customers
- Provide technical support in customer discussions and respond to queries related to transmission network design and optimization
Qualifications
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or technical college qualifications in telecommunications, electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- Good knowledge of the cellular system concept and Ericsson products (preferable have 2 year experience in cellular system).
- Detail knowledge of transmission network design, especially in relation to digital cellular networks.
- Detail konwledge of IP planning with valid CCNA certification
- Independent, self-motivated, and well organised with an analytical mind.
- Co-operative, open to continuous change and varying degrees of responsibility.
