For the position of RF Senior Engineer, a minimum of 2 years of RF experience in UMTS/HSDPA/Wi-Max, with Nokia system preferably, is required. However personnel with partial experience or experienced in CDMA2000, CDMA 1x is also encouraged to write in.

Responsibilities:
General:
- Perform site planning, SC planning, neighbor and parameters planning, spectrum management, capacity management and its implementation using planning and analysis/optimization tool.
- Participate in RF tests for network optimization, reducing interference, neighbor analysis, antenna tilt and antenna orientation for best possible coverage with minimum interference.
- Optimize RF parameters for both on RNC and site/cell level to improve network quality and drop ratio for both CS and PS.
- Analyze performance statistics (KPI) and Events Failure to improve performance of handover, Data Throughput (HSDPA) and call success rate, and also analyze traffic statistics due to congestion.
- Conduct site selection, field surveys(if necessary), data collection (if necessary) and perform analysis of daily drive tests, plot drive test data with RF propagation & drive test analysis tools to ensure optimum design of the wireless networks.
- On-job training to Junior Engineers.
- Generate Reports for Customer Requirement, such as Regular Cluster Analysis, Benchmarking Analysis, Special tuning, Troubleshooting, etc.
- Review analyzed result with Customer and make sure all proposals can be implemented.

- Network Design & Planning
- Knowledge of 3G/Wi-Max planning tools and/or Nemo is desired.
- Knowledge of Nokia UTRAN network is a plus.
- Able to write programs for GIS like MapInfo.
- Programming in Access Database and Excel using macros and VBA.
- Clusterization & Optimization procedures
- Drive test measurement tools such as TEMS, Metatron and TOMS
- GSM or WCDMA Network Design & Analysis.
- 2G & 3G Theory & network architecture

Requirements:
- Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/information Technology or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Window XP
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience, preferably with Nokia WCDMA system.
- Applicants capable of speaking Mandarin, besides English, is a plus.
- Full-Time and Contract position available.
- A good team player, with strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills, self-motivated, independent, aggressive and good communication skills.
Experience
- Defining site configuration such as azimuth, height, antenna types, tilt, etc.
- Define and evaluate power budgets, uplink/downlink path balance, ERP, Ec/No, RSCP
- Knowledge of RF test equipment, data collection methodology, and RF data analysis
- Some experience in Nokia NetAct applications skills for Fault Management and Configuration Management
- Identifies test areas and develops drive test requirements for use by Drive Test Technicians
