QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate should be Electronics/Communication/Electrical engineers majoring in electronics and communication with 2-5 yrs of experience in RF engineering, Repeaters and usage of various data collection and RF tools etc
- Working knowledge of all RF concepts such as return loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), EM interference, usage of filters etc
- Knowledge of CDMA RF engineering
- Knowledge of DAS [Distributed antennae system], active and passive repeaters
- Must have knowledge in making the Link budget for repeater deployment
- Familiar with in building survey, preparation of IBS design, Link budgeting, finalisation of antennae requirements, bill of material and cost of deployment etc
- Familiar with indoor walk test for data collection and trouble shooting the weak areas
- Familiar with different types of filters and methods to avoid interference with GSM and UMTS systems
- Have experience of providing IBS in shopping malls and business centers
- Familiar with CDMA system parameters and how to tune them to get a better repeater performance and their dependencies with donor BTS sensitivity
- Hands on experience in using RF test equipments like Spectrum Analyzer, Drive test tools, RF planning tools, Post processing tools, Site master etc
- Working knowledge of all RF concepts such as return loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), antenna details, power concepts etc
- Broad understanding of today's RF standards/specifications and technologies such as GSM, UMTS, networking, etc
- Have knowledge of Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) and ways to control them
